One Week Until Integrated Care DC Managed Care Readiness Workshop

We are a week away from our in-person Managed Care Readiness Workshop on Tuesday, May 9 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Marion S. Barry, Jr. Building (Metro: One Judiciary Square). Hosted by the DC Department of Health Care Finance, DBH Training Institute, and Integrated Care DC, this in-person workshop is for behavioral health providers and other organizations seeking to prepare for the upcoming carve-in of behavioral health to the District’s Medicaid Managed Care program. Here is an overview of the agenda:

  • 8:30 AM – Registration
  • 9:00 AM – Keynote: DHCF and DBH Leadership Perspectives
  • 9:30 AM – Context and Foundational Elements of Managed Care for Behavioral Health
  • 11:00 AM – Planning for Change to Support Managed Care for Behavioral Health

  • 12:30 PM – MCO Panel on Supporting Behavioral Health Integration
  • 2:45 PM – Breakouts: Practice Collaborations ǀ Level of Care Determination ǀ Data Sharing
  • 3:00 PM – Closing Thoughts

CE/CME Credit
Continuing Education approval by the DBH Training Institute is pending. CME credits for this activity are also pending approval. Workshop content is developed by Health Management Associates, Inc.
