Melita Ellis King is an internal medicine physician and strategic healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience working in healthcare technology, managed care, value-based care, digital health, and healthcare delivery systems maximizing innovation and efficiency.

Dr. Ellis King served in roles as vice president of customer success, chief medical officer, and chief medical information officer. She oversaw healthcare programs, patient services, transformational change, process analysis and improvement across diverse healthcare systems. She managed digital application useability and the integration of value base care programs such as: remote patient monitoring, chronic care management, transitional care management, and behavioral health integration to support and drive best practices and standards of practice.

A skilled relationship builder, Dr. Ellis King established top-performing patient-centered medical operations by building and maintaining alignment between physicians and hospital administrators. She managed strong collaborative customer relationships, customer satisfaction surveys, bridged organizational silos and aligned both technology and clinical imperatives for customer success and demonstrated results.

Dr. Ellis King earned her medical degree from the Xavier University School of Medicine. She also earned a master’s degree in organizational development from Fielding Graduate University and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University.
